Week 5: The problem rate of insomnia is increasing

We all know that sleep is a process of relax and rest our mind and physical body. The science explains that human need to sleep one-three of their life. From this statement, we get to know sleep is very important in our life, but there is a disease which could lead some of the people could not sleep. The name of the disease is insomnia. Insomnia is a sleep disorder which mean you have trouble falling asleep. This will lead to the patients will feel exhausted in the morning and afternoon which could possibly affect their working efficiency and also could bring an accident while patients driving car. What's worse is even they feel exhausted in the white day, but they could not sleep at night. This kind of disorder will make the patients feel very tormented. The factors that can contribute the insomnia are stress, genetics, mental health condition and so on.  In a 2015 study, the researchers found that the rate of insomnia is increasing from 17.5% in 2002 to 19.2% in 2012, and also another similar study in 2019 found that the insomnia rate among the senior is increasing from 3.9% in 2006 to 6.2% in 2013. From this studies, we can know that the problem of insomnia is become common in the world.

     So, what will happen in the future if the rate of insomnia is still increasing. The efficiency of production in the future will be decrease due to most of the employees are lack of sleeping. This is because their brain cannot be smart if they did not get a enough sleep. There could be also increase the rate of accidents such as transportation accidents and work accidents because they not in a good state of mind. For example, driver cannot be concentrate while driving which could possibly lead to the accidents and some employees could hurt themselves or their coworkers in types of dangerous work. Even the leaders could make the wrong decision if they didn't get enough sleep and this will probably lead to the bankrupt of company. Besides, insomnia can also lead to the decreasing of average life expectancy in the world. This is due to the reason that lack of sleep will cause a several of diseases such as diabetes, obesity, heart attack, cancer and so on. On top of that, lack of sleep will also impairment of liver and could the sudden death for people who lack of sleep.


        To solve this problem, I had think a several of creative solutions. First of all, the patients can try to read the books that include the boring contents to them. This is because people will feel sleepy when they are doing something they don't like or they feel bored. Second, the patients can also imagine themselves in a comfortable place or comfortable thing while sleeping. This is due to the reason that the more comfortable you are, the faster you fall asleep. This ways is more better to put into practice after you having a bath. Third, the patients can try to meditation before sleep. This is because what meditation is trying to do is to focus on one thing, people will feel tired when they focus on one thing for a long time.

       The reason why I write this title is because I had face sleep disorder when I was still a child. Every night, all my family members had already in dreamland, but I still open my eyes. As the time goes by, I started to think something I like while sleeping and I found that this can make me fall asleep and also I had tried meditation before, and it can make feel tired within of five minutes. Hence, those are the inspiration of creative solutions to come out with. I hope that people in the future will no longer suffering from insomnia.
